O God, you led your holy apostles to ordain ministers in every place: Grant that your Church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may choose suitable persons for the ministry of the Word and Sacrament, and may uphold them in their work for the extension of your kingdom; through him who is the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Contribute to Funding Future Leaders (FFL).

Make a contribution to the FFL national scholarship endowment by means of a direct cash contribution, a gift of stock, a bequest or other planned gift.

Help to raise awareness of the issue in the Episcopal Church.

  • Discuss the topic in leadership sessions, adult forums, retreats and other places where parishioners gather together.
  • Display posters and publish articles and features in your newsletter and on your website and place inserts in your Sunday bulletins. See Resources section.
  • Request a special speaker or a copy of a Power Point presentation by sending a request to: info@FundingFutureLeaders.org.
  • Think about how your diocese, parish, other types of Episcopal organizations in which you are involved or you as an individual can respond. Ideas might include a pledge, a gift from an endowment, tithe from a capital campaign, a line item in a diocesan budget, a special event or a special offering.
  • Help us identify and access potential donors for Funding Future Leaders.
  • Send your ideas about ways to help in your parish, diocese, seminary or other organization in an e-mail to info@FundingFutureLeaders.org, so we can share these ideas with others. Ideas might include a special offering, a gift from an endowment, tithe from a capital campaign, or a line item in your budget.
